Our Church in San Diego and our television ministry have a PRAYER LINE and hundreds of people responded by calling our Prayer Line during the last twelve months. A woman called and told the councilor that she was thinking of killing herself because of grief and guilt. That day was the second anniversary of her husband’s death, who killed himself by jumping from the cliffs and drowning in the ocean. That woman needed urgent help and she received help and deliverance from the idea of suicide. Help and deliverance comes from the word of God, because Jesus Christ has taken all of our sins to the cross and he died for us! The word of God, which is powerful, helped this lady in her situation. She had tried all kind of medications, but was discouraged because it did not help. We invited her to visit our services in our church in San Diego. She not only came, but she also gave a powerful public testimony during the service and said that she was completely healed and delivered by the power of God and set free from all medications.

A woman called our prayer line and cried so loud that we could not get her name and address. She was just ready to kill herself. She wanted to speed with her car and run into a certain tree to kill herself over some "family problems". This twenty-one-year-old lady who lives together with her seventeen-year-old sister was trying to protect her sister from bad influences, connections, drugs, etc. But she got totally frustrated and discouraged trying to educate and raise her minor sister in the place of her mother. After receiving confort at the prayer line, our councilor found out that this woman was already a "New Believer" in Jesus Christ and this was an open door for the word of god, because Jesus wants us to have abundant life, joy, and the fruits of the spirit of God.The woman made a new beginning with Christ and confessed: "Thinking about suicide is the beginning of destruction and not a way to solve probelems because suicide is sin!"

One of our councilors took a call from another woman. Her son was kidnapped by his own father. The authorities could not help her because the father had taken the son overseas. The mother had not seen her son and she had not heard from him for several years. Grief, loneliness, and depression pushed her down on a daily basis. She asked at the Prayer Line to pray with her for healing of her wounded soul. She was comforted so much that she desired fellowship with the councilor of the church. She now regularly visits our church, and her relationship and faith in Jesus Christ has been renewed and she has received "Healing from the word of God."
